Thanks Rizwan, for sharing the information you found out with all of us.
Such sharing is in the true nature of the open sourse software community.
Here is another nice "hack" that I use. Add the following URLs to your
Netscape "Personal Toolbar" bookmark folder. The toolbar is that thin
strip that appears below your location field on the chrome of the browser.
javascript:q=document.getSelection();if(!q){void(q=prompt('Enter word to
search.',''))};if(q)location.href='http://www.dict.org/bin/Dict?Form=Dict1&Strategy=*&Database=*&Query='+escape(q)
javascript:q=document.getSelection();if(!q){void(q=prompt('Enter word to
search.',''))};if(q)location.href='http://www.m-w.org/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va='+escape(q)
[Note: Those are two large lines. Your mail reader might have chopped it
up into smaller lines]
There are two ways in which you can use these bookmarks:
* Just clicking on the bookmark on the personal toolbar will open up a
JavaScript dialog box. You type in the word and click OK and search
results from dict.org / m-w.org will be returned.
* When you are reading a web page you can select a word on the page whose
definition you want to look up and click on the bookmark to lookup the
definition of the word that you highlighted / selected.
