 If it's not in the INND manual, it won't be anywhere else.
 I suggest you compile innd along with the spam filtering system 'cleanfeed'.
 Also have your upstream filter your newsfeed at that level itself.
 
 Even if you take 60 odd text only newsgroups, that's going to mean about 2
 gigs of transfer per day.
 
 It's cheaper (or even free if you have a sizeable ip block) to take a newsfeed
 from your upstream provider instead of outsourcing it to someone like
 http://www.supernews.com (recently acquired by criticalpath / cp.net)
 
 I don't run any nntp servers - but have some friends who run some really large
 ones.  I'll ask them, and they'll most likely paste the relevant part of the
 innd manual / faq for me ;)
