when u load linux use the graphical mode(or else edit the XF86Config file
for the below resolution) then u will come to the monitor seletion select
the correct monitor. Then it will ask u for your display card then select
the trident card and then take the opion of configuring Xwindows which not
taken as default then go ahead to configure X u will
find the list of resolutions availabe take the 800x600 and the immediate
next one (16 bit) then in the 32 bit take only the 1024 resolution(take
the test this configuration option too) and go ahead with the installation
i think this will work out fine i have the same card and worked out fine
for me.
