I think we were born together i have the same monitor i seem(samtron
5Ei) to have solved the problem when installing Linux it automatically
probes and finds the monitor for u
take that monitor which it probes and do not select anything else.It
worked out fine for me.
If u still have a problem then i mail u the XF86Config file edit yours too
according to it and it will work fine.
