no, word does support this, but rtf is rich text format,
and a lot of other packs too support this to name a few
Star Writer for linux
Quark Xpress for Mac
Page Maker for Windows
i forgot, but some where i had a perlscript which
could convert rtf to html or ps. I am still searching
for this, I had it when i was using RH 5.2, after a
disk crash (blame Win NT), during my MCSE practs, i
lost a lot of linux work too.
