man mkswap and swapon
windows partitions -
mount /dev/[windows-partition] /mnt/hdtemp (say) - you might have to specify
the type (vfat, say) if not listed in /etc/fstab

Get in with a boot floppy and run lilo again. Next time, say that the change
in the bootrecord is expected.
