Dear Kelvin,

Please don't mind, but your question is not clear. I can only understand 
that you created a theme, which is not getting applied (for short). Anyway, 
read the file /usr/share/apps/kthemem*/themerc (if present) in red hat 
linux. the .themerc file stores the location of .xpm files. You can also use 
your images/xpm files by simply putting them at $HOME/.kde/share/icons. to 
see the changes run "killall kfm; kfm" and also restart the kpanel.
