Hi, I have installed RedHat 6.2 in one of our PC in the LAN. All other PC (NT4.0) connect to the Internet via a Proxy (Apache on a SUN Solaris computer). Linux PC has a GNOME GUI. The Netscape I tried to configure through Edit>Pref>Advanced>Proxy - Manual Proxy setting. But connecting to any website gives the error - A Network error has occured ... (TCP error - Network is unreachable). Then if I go back to check my proxy setting, I see that it has turned back to default setting i.e. - Direct connection to Internet. From the terminal session I checked the network, the proxy server is reachable through telnet session. What is the solution now? SC __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
