I noticed the same thiong with Xmms. As soon as it is started it forks 3
times and once an mp3 is played, 5 processes are seen. What is even more
strange is that when the second mp3 begins, a total of 7 xmms processes are
seen and this remains constant for the remainder of the execution.
(I noticed a similar thing with Star Office ... but I have not yet confirmed
it)
Can anybody shed some light on this.
