Pop in the CD of which U want to make a copy in UR CD -RW
and do a 'dd if=/dev/cdrw of=/var/suse-x.raw'
Please note that U have to have IDE CD-RW support on the
kernel and a link in UR /dev/cdrw pointing to the real
ide device.

No bother, on a normal CD -R media, U can write upto 670 MB
in total. 650 MB == 670 odd MB

Burn the CD-R by doing a
'cdrecord -vv -eject -pad dev=0,0,0 speed=x /var/suse-x.raw';
where the variables are the speed x and the device id.
