I hav set up samba printing to a windows Nt machine using redhat 6.1 and suse
6.3 In both cases I didn't have any problems ans so didn't have to mess with any
of the files.
I suspeft that nin my case bestpath is getting set before that point. or
alternatively your samba client is not in the expected place ( did you recompile
it from tarballs ?)
the double slash in a path will not cause any problems in linux (try using
.//script to run a script ).
