I have tried it. Its in general good. Except for some surprises - like it
doesn't have /etc/inetd.conf, but has /etc/xinetd.conf etc. I had some
problems with the 810 sound on some boxes. But on others 810 sound was
working OK. About 810 graphics. The new XFree86 as shipped with RH7 chokes
to death when you try it in 16 bit color, and leaves a coredump. It works
out of box for 810 with 8 and 24/32 bit colors though.
So that's about all. I have downloaded and cut the CDs. If anyone wants,
you can pick them up from me and make your copies.
Kedar.
