I am also facing the same problem. I have got Cirrus Logic GD 5480 card on the server.
Sometimes if I give startx on the server than nothing comes on the screen(blank
screen) and then nothing works [cntrl-alt-del etc.] No other option than pressing
reset button on the server. This has happened to me too serveral times. No idea why it
is happening. I initially thought that there may be some problem with Cirrus Logic
card of this model and X server.
Anybody has got any ideas why this is happening ?
