[LIH] Opening Netscape on 2nd Desktop by default?

hi list,

upon starting X (thru startx) certain applications are 
automatically started, e.g. netscape.

but the problem is that netscape opens up on the first virtual 
desktop.  how/where do i tell the X windows manager to open 
netscape on 2nd virtual desktop?

am using KDE and have 4 virtual desktops enabled.
