Hi,

I'm trying to install Oracle8 for Linux (Redhat 6.2) I installed Oracle
without creating the DB objects, applied the glib patch and then created the
DB Objects using the installer. Now, I'm supposed to run the svrmgrl to shut
down the oracle instance. But i get an error saying "error in loading shared
libraries: libclntsh.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory". I get the same error if i run sqlplus. The file
"libclntsh.so.1.0" is located at $ORACLE_HOME/lib. Can anyone help me get
over this problem

Regards,
Sam
