In fact the ibcs module given with SuSE is not used. I am using ibcs.rpm of SuSE 6.3
which is for the old version of the kernel 2.2.13. After installing SuSE rpm the
libraries required by this module are also installed and when you say insmod ibcs the
module which came with redhat 6.2 is used.
SuSE RPM should be installed just to install the libraries which are not supplied by
Red Hat. Red Hat 6.2 however comes with ibcs.o (ibcs module).
