[LIH] messengers blocking

Hi
   friends,my question is regarding blocking of messengers,like
icq,msn,yahoo and aol.

Then can someone tell me the port nos of yahoo,icq,msn,Aol messengers. I
tried to block through ipchains  RH Linux6.2 
 
$IPCHAINS -A input -p tcp -s $REMOTENET -d $LOCALNET 5050 -j DENY
 
But is did't work for me tell where i am wrong? please help me
