Hi everybody,
I configured a NE2000 ISA card after a long struggle
with the help of *insmod*, *ifconfig* etc.
and setting up the broadcast and netmask manually.
But the Problem is -- I can access only one subnet in
which the m/c is

am giving the steps that i followed to get this
problem.
insmod ne.o io=0x300
ifconfig eth0 up xxx.xxx.6.108
ifconfig eth0 broadcast xxx.xxx.6.127
ifconfig eth0 netmask 255.255.255.128
the router has 3 ethernet cards.
eth0 xxx.xxx.1.213 for network xxx.xxx.1.255
eth1 xxx.xxx.6.126 for network xxx.xxx.6.0
eth2 xxx.xxx.6.254 for network xxx.xxx.6.128
the setting in Linuxconf for Gateway are
xxx.xxx.6.126
And the other settings are correct.(I suppose)
Now I can ping to xxx.xxx.6.126 or any IP ranging
between xxx.xxx.6.1 to 126
but can not ping to xxx.xxx.6.129 to 254
why so ?
