Hi there Goks,

I guess it an ISA card as PCI cards are mostly auto-detected and that is
why it is not getting auto-detected. Do the following: Get into
control-panel on NT and check out the values for the interrupt and IO port
of the card. It shld be something like 0x300 for the port and 10 for the
Interrupt. These should be the most likely values.

Next fire up 'netconf'.

Go to 'basic host configuration'

Enter the network stuff like IP address, netmask etc and make the foll
entries:

Net device : eth0 (Don't know if this is essential)
Kernel Module : ne
I/O Port : 0x300 (if this doesn't work try 0x330)
Irq : 10

You might have to play around with the values of port and IRQ until it
says something like "NE*2000 card found at port ##, using IRQ ##". All
this is IF U are not able to get the values from winduz.

Dont forget to enable adaptor 1.

Save and exit.

do a # /etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart

Enjoy life.

Narain.
