Hi

What patch is this?? I tried to "make certificate" but that resulted only in
a "no rule".

You can use your own certificates any time you like. It is just that stuff
like Verisign is automatically trusted by IE and Netscape.

Dont waste your money on a verisign certificate unless you need it.

Just do a 'make certificate'

Use openssl - and download the patch from apache-ssl.org (by the way, the
FixPatch script from open-ssl.org works for open ssl 0.95 - 0.96beta doesnt
have a patch yet - but it just might work. Try it anyway.

That will ask you a few questions (name, company, address, state etc), ask
you
for a passphrase and generate a certificate.
