 Ouch.  Upgrade that thing ASAP.  2.2.17 is the latest kernel - go to slackware
 7.1 (which gets you 2.2.16 kernel) and install the new kernel (cp /boot/config
 /usr/src/linux-2.2.17/.config, make oldconfig, make dep, make clean, make
 bzimage, make modules, make modules_install, make install)
