Sir, I installed two networkcards ( of different make ) in a computer

Card A : 192.168.106.161
Card B : 192.168.1.253

Both having mask 255.255.255.0,, At begining card A was not pinging to
192.168.106.160 ( ie computer in their neibourhood, i use a.b.c.x to say
computers in a.b.c network ). But latter it worked fine. But with
interesting observation. It ping to their neighourhood ( including gateway
) with reporting 98% loss and average time about about 587000ms, but it
ping to computers of outernetwork like 202.141.x.x with 0% loss and normal
time of 1ms. However it was working fine.

Today, it was working fine. A few moment late I noticed no key stroke is
working on telnet screen ( of remote pc ). On analysis, and even after
rebooting, it did not ping to its neibouring pcs ( 192.168.106.160 etc. )
with message : Destination Host Unreachable.

The 2nd card ping to neibouring pc with 98% loss, while other pc in its
neibourhood ping to 2nd card nicely with 0% loss and 1ms time.

Have any body experienced same problem?

Help is seeked from gurus
