[LIH] Changing smarthost in sendmail.cf

Hi All

Is it possible to make sendmail take the smarthost(DS) option from a file.
I want to write a shell script in ip-up.local to put the smarthost name into
a file depending on the ISP.

If this is not possible with sendmail, does qmail,exim or any other MTA
support this feature?
