Nice, isn't it? SuSe6.4 on an AMD Duron600 etc.
Worked fine till I tried to use VMWare eval. Installed VMWare and it
worked fine a few times. It hung once, switched off the machine, and ever
since it reboots immediately afterr booting up.
Tried the SuSe 6.4 LiveEval CD. The system boots with that.
Tracked the problem to after the running of the /sbin/init.d/boot.local
script.
Anyone got any ideas? Yes, and before someone asks that: the default
runlevel in /etc/inittab is *not* 6 (reboot) or 0 (halt).
