Hello Raju
when i did "/etc/rc.d/init.d/ldap start" , on the screen it shows the service
started, but when i do ps -aux | grep ldap , it doest shows the ldap as running, I had
enabled it in ntsysv
How to see when i give ps -aux | grep ldap
I am not seeing "ldap" when i do "ps" means that the service is not running , but when
i do "/etc/rc.d/init.d/ldap start" it show the service as started , then why it is
not showing when i run "ps -aux"
           Thanks

Subject:[LIH] LDAP help needed

/etc/rc.d/init.d/ldap start

Check if the server is running with a ps.

Check:

        ldapsearch -b 'dc=joseph,dc=com' objectclass='*'
