Hello everybody,
I now have a peculiar problem in Red Hat which I did not have
when I had SuSE 6.3.
I can connect to the internet through vsnl using wvdial but
whenever I try to access any web site through any browser ,
I get some error. For example , Lynx tells me
`` Alert ! Unable to connect to remote host ''
I searched the log files and thought that the
following could be relevant :

[ This was a boot time message ]
Starting httpd [FAILED]
httpd: Cannot determine local host name
Use the ServerName directive to set it manually

Error message from remadmin :Can't resolve host name "unix"!
------------------------------------------------------------------

( By the way those httpd errors are no longer appearing
perhaps because I uninstalled apache today.
Still no improvement in my condition .)
I am a real dummy when it comes to networking.
So, somebody please help.
