Subject: [ilug-goa] Configuring AGP video Cards with TV Out Option
Date: Mon, 27 Nov 2000 18:04:54 -0800 (PST)
From: Bijon Shaha <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Some AGP cards have this addional feature and an
addional socket for diverting the video signal (PAl)
to TV sets. Example is Trident 3D Image 975.
Is there any simple or not-too-simple method of
configuring such cards so that we can divert the
signal to the TV set when we desire so?

Subject: [ilug-goa] Further query Info on :AGP cards with TV out Option
Date: Mon, 27 Nov 2000 18:26:27 -0800 (PST)
From: Bijon Shaha <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
This refers to my query on the method of configuring
the Video cards with TV option.
During a X crash when the control was back to VT
console
the message read on the terminal is as follows:
Trident Chipset Version 3D Image 975
TV Interface is PAL
DAC is enabled for TV
etc
Can anyone suggest how to divert the signal to the TV
set when we would like to view the text or graphical
info on the TV?
