<excuse> I have exams </excuse>
Sorry 'bout the new thread ... Outlook had flushed my mailbox
Check out the X-Mailer on this one !!!
A BIG thanx to Suresh and Rajesh :->
It was the
set hostname="goatelecom.com"
in .muttrc that did the trick !
I goofed and had it set to "mailsvr.goatelecom.com" before
However, on adding
FEATURE(`accept_unresolvable_domains')dnl
FEATURE(`accept_unqualified_senders')dnl
to sendmail.cf, restarting sendmail I get:
[root@Gaurav] ~# /etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail restart
Shutting down sendmail: [ OK ]
Starting sendmail: 451 /etc/sendmail.cf: line 161: fileclass: cannot open
ATURE(`accept_unresolvable_domains')dnl: No such file or directory
451 /etc/sendmail.cf: line 162: fileclass: cannot open
ATURE(`accept_unqualified_senders')dnl: No such file or directory
[FAILED]
Is this coz of real old sendmail?

What I meant is:
Received: (from *user*@localhost) by *server.com* (.....
for *destination* ; *day date time*
> man procmailex - there's a recipe for this I think
Yep. But I don't know if and how much it has to be hacked for this list .. haven't
read man procmail yet.
> :r ! grep linux .muttrc
^^^^^^^^^^goes in .procmailrc, right?
Does it "dedigestify" the digests, or do I RTFM :p
# lists linux in older mutts
subscribe linux
^^^^^done
# save-hook '~f linux-india' =linux
^^^^^^^ why is this commented?
I have to have a :
mailboxes linux
first for the above, right
folder-hook linux my_hdr Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Suresh Ramasubramanian)
^^^^^^^^^ not Reply-To:*list id* ?
While replying 'L' not 'r' right?
Also, I have set editor to "emacs -nw". How do I get it to behave ... its not taking
bkspc
I have seen faq 124 (I have also seen help 1000 times while typing this), but this
never happens when I run emacs otherwise
Is there any soln other than setting editor to just "emacs" ?
How to set max columns to 80? I am sure that I have disobeyed that commandment a
couple of times here.
> sorry for the mini howto
Eagerly waiting for it to become a full fledged howto ;-)
