Try 'man autoexpect'. I haven't used it, but the man page says:
<QUOTE>
autoexpect - generate an Expect script from watching a session
SYNOPSIS
autoexpect [ args ] [ program args... ]
INTRODUCTION
autoexpect watches you interacting with another program
and creates an Expect script that reproduces your interac-
tions. For straightline scripts, autoexpect saves sub-
stantial time over writing scripts by hand.
</QUOTE>
Also you can visit the expect home page :
The Expect home page is: http://expect.nist.gov
The Expect FAQ is: http://expect.nist.gov/FAQ.html
