i have got
2 scsi hdd which will finally be the mirrored root disks
one ide hdd as temp root disk as u cannot install linux directly onto a RAID
drive (also intel says so)
an Intel SRCU21 hardware RAID controller
red hat linux 6.2

i need to
mirror the root disk using the RAID controller.

i have
upgraded to kernel to 2.2.16
loaded to appropriate i2o drivers available on the intel site.
noticed that the kernel upgradation procedure in the intel site does not
work.

what happens is that the kernel boots with the 2.2.16 kernel but core dumps
while detecting the i2o drivers.

any
similar past experiences. ???
suggestions / recommendations ???

mrinal.
