denish, i was finally successful in configuring als4000 last nite!
:) what a feeling of satisfaction!
anywayz, the output breaking a little. sometimes a second or two
are skipped as if in a bad cd player. but otherwise it's fine.
maybe i haven't got the right settings or maybe the driver will
improve in future versions.
download 0.5.10 from www.alsa-project.com

Hello all,
I am usindg RH 6.2 (PCquest) on my cyrix 233 with ALS 4000 sound card which
is not working under linux (works with windoze).
I tried with alsa too but couldn't succeed...
Has anybody configured ALS 4000?
would be highly thankful for pointers if any...
