Thanks for the info. So far i did not switched away from 17226. Anyway I will try
later....
About my printer... aghhh... It's working.....
I wiped out mandrake 7.1 from my company machine on friday because I was feeling bit
uneasy there compared to redhat...
Installed RHL6.2, PCQ. Samba up in first shot. NFS too. Just pointed to one of my
colleagues printer and it blazed.
Only thing I couldn't print a ps file. `gs ..... -device=/|lpr ` stuff produced a
junk on screen but nothing on printer. Anyway I will point it to postscript printer on
windows machine and just print the ps file as it is. I guess it should work.
BTW Postscript printer on windows is simplest way I found to convert any files to ps
or pdf.. That's absolutely cool...
