If he's using cvs in the first place ... rsync helps sort out this entire
thing ... only files which differ between the local and remote versions are
rsynced. rsync is tunneled over ssh, making it safer than ftp. Further,
the -z option compresses files as they are transferred.
$ rsync -azve ssh * [EMAIL PROTECTED]/home/httpd/html/mywebsite.com/
simple as that - using cvs for this is a bit of an overkill, imho.
