Hi,

get 'wget' and you'll never want anything else. I've
used the following command for all my downloads and
never needed to know another....

wget --tries=0 --continue [download-URL]

Use -b if you want the download in background.

The best way to 'save' partial downloads is to write a
shell script containing tha above command! Enjoy!
