Difficult for me to say if they know about this 'hidden' Tornado. But,
surely, stleast some of them have some strange-idea of what is going on.
My point would be more related to their mentality which does not mach
with the Linux-Movement's basic attitude.
They would usually think in terms of
dinners-meetings-money-prestige-power game which is not what Linux is
about.
It may be worth thinking that Linux-Movement in itself organises things
and works to build itself to promote Linux. Sure it requires a much
bigger effort than "donating food and gizmos to NASSCOM ppl" but it will
be worth it, because then the basic mental-direction of the
Linux-Movement would be maintained right from the beginning.
All this will require thinking-planning-organizing-implementing and for
this the biggest resource "Human resource" needs to be available with
the right motivation "the motivation to give opn's best to the society",
which is what Linux is about.

Without inner faith, there is fear; fear produces suffering;
suffering produces violence; violence produces destruction.
Therefore, inner faith prevents destruction.
