umm... a pretty newbie question I can find that by find / -lname "*filename" but was wondering if there is a more efficient way of doing it. Does the ext2 fs store this data ( ie is the mapping inode to filename uni-directional or bi-directional ) sreangsu -- ---------------------------------------------- LIH is all for free speech.
