Are You getting these right after LILO prints "L", in that case it could
be a disk reading error. Check up the exact 2 digit no you are getting
with the disk error codes of lilo. You will find them with the lilo
manual, or in /usr/doc/lilo*/README. If you want I can post those offline
to you.
