no! /var/spool/mail has perms 775 for root.mail, so root/mail can write
in the directory whereas all others can see the listing. inside the
directory, every user's mailbox has perms as 660 for $USER.mail. thus
the mailboxes can b writen & read *ONLY* by the mail and $USER users.
others can just c the size of the mailboxes of other users, but *cant*
read them.
