Check your syslog (/etc/syslog.conf) - see where the mail logs are being
stored.  If nothing is going on, see if syslogd is running, and restart it (use
killall -HUP, say)

ps - as you are from DSF Internet, could you tell us more about how you people
hit the limelight here in Linux-India-General abt violating the GPL (lifting
source code from everybuddy without acknowledging it, distributing binary only
etc)?
