Hi,
I have an interesting application for linux,
There are 3 machines and modem located a few 100 kilometer apart. There is
cable (say a leased line, but not exactly) running between all the machine.
The two machine are located at the end of cable and third one is at middle.
The question is,
How to connect all the three machine in a lan using modem and cable?
The drawbacks,
1. ppp or slip is not possible because these are used between two machine.
2. uucp is also out of question.
3. The cable is not ordinary leased line, it is a coaxial cable and carrying
other data on different bandwidth, hence it can be cut. However with
transceiver modem will see it as leased line only.

Is there any solution under linux?
Mouse clickers have miserably failed here.
