Hi!
Tomcat in it's default configuration tries to run it's own webserver on
port 80. that's why you are getting this error. Do you have apache running
too?
To correct this, go to TOMCAT_ROOT/conf and edit the server.xml
file. There will be a XML entry for some http_pool_connector or something
with the port being specified as 80. Change this to any other port which
is free.
The recommended setup is with Apache as the webserver and tomcatas a
servlet container only. Please refer to the Apache-Tomcat HOWTO for this..
