Hi,
as Suresh pointed out, its only the "Received:" header which breaks
line. The subsequent lines usually begins with a "by" or "for" and
sometimes the "id".
But I am unable to catch hold of these specific "by" and "from" with a
suitable regex. These are generally indented with some whitespace ( may be
tab). If i open this on vi i can get them with
^\tby for by and ^\tfor for from. But for grep I have tried all of
"^\tby" "^\sby" "^ by" but none of these seem to catch them.
Looking for HELP. In the mean time coping with
grep -v "[A-Z].*:\|^$\|\bid\b\|$USER" i.e the header fields, blank lines,
any line with "id" ( also removes the "by" lines ) and $USER removes the
for lines.
