Hi Uday,
I used both fdisk for linux and fdisk for Dos for partitioning.
You are right, lilo needs to be installed on the MBR of the first disk.
Maybe you should experiment with the boot=/dev/hda feature of lilo.conf
and run lilo afterwards!
BTW, if you have NT loaded , there was an article somewhere for using NT
loader for booting from linux partitions.
