Hi Rajesh,
All a dumb terminal can do is decode the escape sequences it receives &
display on the screen & also send whatever u type to the server. dumb
terminals normally provide a hot key to provide a menu, from which you can
select various settings, such as line speed, no. of columns, printer type
...etc. In our place, the hotkey is Alt+Escape
I guess printing functionality is provided by a screen print thro' a
hotkey (or thro' an escape seq. from server), or probably by a setting,
which instructs the dumb terminal to redirect everything it receives to a
printer.
There's a program vtprint (which I haven't tried !) which may of use to u.
