Hi,
I am trying to install Redhat 6.2 using GUI installation mode.
I need two clarifications, please help me out.
1) I have a samtron 75E, 17" monitor and the display card is
AGP Sis 6236 with 8MB ram. The installation program detects
the monitor as Samsung17. I tried changing it to Samtron, but
I didn't see an option for 75E( It had all other things like 7E, etc).
Also I am not sure of what should be horizontal and vertical
frequencies. I tried to find it in the manual that comes with
the monitor but in vain. When I press the "Test this Configuration"
button, I am not able to see anything except for one white rectangle.
Is this particular monitor supported? If so how should I configure
to get correct display?
2) Will I be able to use linux in GUI mode ( KDE or GNOME ) in a
partionless installation?
