No configuration needed. In Linux you don't configure modem. Just specify on
which port it is. That's it. In Dialer you have to specify port, ph.no., name
server etc. and dial.

But the connection drops immediatly after connecting. i.e. after getting junk on
screen when I press continue button of the dialer.
