hello everybody
I have redhat 7.0 installed on my m/c which is made up of i815 board.
So far when it was configured with "Generic vga" it was working fine (i mean the
X-windows) , then i tried to configure it using Xconfigurator
It detects Intel 815 chipset with samsung17 monitor
then after selecting the color depth as 16 & resolution as 800*600
when it starts testing the X-windows it hangs , even the keyboard doesn't work , only
thing i can do is CTRL+LT+DEL, to restart the system.
Is tere any way to manually detect the card as generic or any other, rather then the
system detect it automatically as i815.
can any one help me.
