Hi Anand,
I had old versions of SDL and smpeg libraries and on that ZZplayer was
playing fine. Then I thought of upgrading both SDL and smpeg packages
different problems started cropping up. One of them was what you have
mentioned.
Install old versions of SDL and smpeg packages. On my system I have got
ZZplayer-0.8-1
SDL-1.1.4-1
smpeg-0.4.0-1
zzplayer works fine.
