Hi,
I want to use an instant messenger in Linux (preferable yahoo messenger
compatible). I have tried yahoo messenger (linux and Java versions),
everybuddy, aim, licq, gnomeicu, imcii, ICQJava already but none works
for me. I am behind a http proxy with a firewall. In Windoze 2000, all
work fine but in linux none of them works. Yahoo messenger just gives
'connecting' and never actually connects. Can it be problem woth name
resoving as I am not able to ping any of the servers from commandline or
do a nslookup on them. (but I have tried giving IPs also).
Any suggestions?
