[LIH] how 2 prevent stack execution

Hi, 
Any idea on how to prevent code from executing on the stack???
do i need to apply any kernel patch or the kernel has support for it
already

(i mean something like setting the noexec_user_stack=1 in /etc/system for
solaris)
